Twinkl | UK curriculum-aligned worksheets and planning ( some Islamic resources available). Paid + free trial. Resources from EYFS to GCSE. Different language versions available. |
BBC Bitesize | Free lessons, videos and quizzes per year group (KS1–3). |
White Rose Maths | UK-wide trusted maths scheme – free worksheets and videos- many schools use these- good for exam papers. |
Read Write Inc (RWI) | Phonics scheme widely used in UK schools – purchase or find used sets. Understand the system and the resources are also available on YouTube. |

Kisa Kids Quran Appreciations workbooks- https://uk.alkisafoundation.org/products/quran-appreciation excellent for children ages 8 and above to break down understanding of belief to word level.

Support Groups & Communities- usually run by home ed parents.
–Home Educators in [Your Area]– Join local groups e.g., “Leicester Home Educators”. Great for meetups and finding out what clubs are running for home education children.

Home ed Family trips on WhatsApp – offer group trips with discounts for Muslim home ed groups.
14 kids Islamic resources- Post a wealth of resources according to the Islamic date.

Forest School Sessions Many local councils offer home ed forest sessions. They are held in local parks or forest areas which encourage independent play and life skills for children.
Sports Clubs for Home Educators
Leisure centres often offer weekday sessions. Many home schoolers set up their own classes. Information is posted in Facebook groups.
Museums & Libraries | British Museum, Science Museum, local heritage sites often offer free workshops. |
Day Trips | Farms, castles, Islamic history exhibitions, planetariums. Many offer group rates. |
